Dialectical Behaviour Therapy

Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is a therapy designed to help people change patterns of behavior that are not helpful.  DBT therapy helps clients to engage their emotions and thoughts, to create a dialog between thinking and feeling.  The client will learn about their triggers and learn which coping skills are most helpful for them.

This approach is noted to be most similar to CBT and is beneficial similar to CBT:
