Children and Fear

It is common for children to express fear to their caregivers.  Common childhood fears:

  • The dark
  • Dark spaces
  • Night time
  • New experiences
  • Strangers
  • Pain
  • Etc.

When fears persist this can be uncomfortable for the child and the caregivers.  If your child is gripped by persistent fears or you are concerned your child may suffer from a phobia, it is important to get support.  One of our Child Psychologists is a great resource for you and your child.  780-449-1196
