As a Registered Provisional Psychologist Ron encourages health and wholeness in people, relationships and families. He comes to Sojourn from a diverse educational background that includes Biological Sciences, Theology and Psychology. He has studied Biological Sciences at N.A.I.T., Religious Education at Vanguard Bible College, Pastoral Counselling at Taylor University and Counselling Psychology at City University of Seattle. He has experience working as a Pastoral Psychology Intern at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in the psychiatric unit and outpatient counselling.

Ron works from a holistic/wellness approach utlilizing effective psychological approaches with current research on the mind/body connection in order to improve emotional, relational and physical health. Ron utilizes a number of psychological approaches including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical-Behavior Therapy, Emotionally-Focused Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Gestalt and Family Systems.
