Karen Cook is a registered psychologist and a registered nurse. She has worked in health care and mental health for over 20 years, with specialization in children's mental health working with young children and their families. Karen has also worked with woman and children in crisis programs, supporting their health and mental health functioning.
Karen has training in psycho-educational assessment, and is passionate about play therapy, parent-child therapy, social skills training, and behavior management. She has experience in individual therapy, parent-child therapy and group therapy. Karen is currently heading up our Sojourn Women group.
Karen’s experience and training as a psychologist are strengthened by her natural ability to relate to and understand people.
