Registered Provisional Psychologist
Craig has over 20 years of experience working in the people helping profession. He has had success helping youth, families and adults in a wide variety of settings, for a wide variety of issues. He has acted as a counsellor for high needs youth (for both behaviour management and mental health management in high risk settings) and as a foster parent. Craig has also acted as a facilitator for a wide variety of groups for adults, youth, parents and families, and he has supported adults facing a variety of challenges including relationships, spirituality, finances, family dynamics, and mental health management. This said, clients can be confident in Craig's ability to come alongside of them as they are facing a variety of issues, whether Craig is drawing on his extensive knowledge of youth issues or his longstanding experience working with adults.
As a therapist, Craig focuses on the interactions and links between the cognitions (thoughts), emotions and the subsequent behaviors or patterns we find ourselves in. Goal setting will then help direct the path that Craig and his client will traverse together. Craig is a firm believer in understanding the mind, body spirit interchange, and in helping a person bring freedom and success to their life.
Craig has a B.A. in Psychology with Honours from Queen's University, and a Masters in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. Craig is currently a registered provisional psychologist in the province of Alberta.
Craig is happily married with four amazing teenage children.
