Sojourn Wellness Group theory base focuses on the Wellness Wheel and Wellness theory. The Wellness theory recognizes that people are social, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, physical and occupational beings. We aim to help clients gain balance in all these dimensions of wellness.
We also focus on theories of narrative therapy, meaning-focused therapy, and solution-focused therapy. These theories offer good insight and effective therapeutic tools. We believe that as one seeks to develop wellness in their life it is also important to look at the issues of meaning and purpose for their personal journey.
Sojourn Wellness Group provides a client-focused setting, which upholds that the therapeutic process offers a professional environment of acceptance and deep respect for the individuality of all people. We aim to support and encourage our clients to find new and meaningful ways of moving beyond past hurts and conflict.
We adhere to the Canadian Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice for Psychologists.
